The La Crosse is a sweet, medium-bodied white wine with citrus and tropical fruit flavors and aromas. The La Crosse vine is a modern hybrid that ripens early, is well suited for northern climates and produces grapes suitable for making fruity white wines.
Sweet, medium-bodied red wine that is a proprietary blend of our Maréchal Foch and Norton wines. Flavors include dark cherry with hints of chocolate, juniper berry and cedar. Maréchal Foch is an inter-specific hybrid grape variety that ripens early and is used to make a variety of styles of wine. Since our Maréchal Foch wine is blended with our Norton wine, you get the benefit of balanced wine that is higher in antioxidants and the beneficial chemical (reservatrol).
Semi-sweet, light bodied wine with fruity flavors including dark cherry with hints of vanilla bean and chocolate. Maréchal Foch vine is an inter-specific hybrid grape variety that ripens early producing wines with strong acidity, aromas of black fruits and, in some cases, toasted wheat, mocha, fresh coffee, bitter chocolate, vanilla bean, and musk.
The Vignoles, a semi-sweet, clean, medium-bodied white wine has a luscious floral aroma and fruity flavors of pineapple, grapefruit and apricot. The Vignoles vine is a complex hybrid that ripens late and produces grapes with fruity flavors and a complex bouquet. Our Vignoles offers a pleasant compromise for both dry and sweet wine lovers because a it starts off sweet but transitions to a tart finish.
Norton also called Cynthiana, is a rich, full-bodied, dry red wine with spicy overtones including chocolate, juniper berry and cedar. We age the wine in handcrafted white oak barrels from Missouri. Indigenous to North America, Norton grapes are known for their deep blue-purple pigmentation, the skin of Norton grapes has a higher content of anthocyanin antioxidants than other purple grape cultivars. Norton wine possesses up to twice as much of the beneficial chemical, reservatrol than other red wines.
Our Chambourcin is a dry medium-bodied red wine with a fruity aroma and cherry and earthy/spicy complexities. Chambourcin is a French-American interspecific hybrid grape variety that produces a deep-colored wine with a full aromatic flavor. Chambourcin is often served with red meats, tomato based sauces, mild cheese and dark chocolate (or desserts made from the chocolate), as the flavors of the wine and chocolate intermingle exceptionally well.
